Always On: Backlight is turned on permanently.
15, 30, 60 or 120: Backlight is turned off when the IP phone is inactive after a preset
period of time (in seconds), but it is automatically turned on if the status of the IP
phone changes or any key is pressed.

Backlight can be configured using the configuration files or locally.

Configure the backlight of the

Navigate to:

Phone User Interface
Configure the backlight of the
LCD screen (only applicable to
the SIP-T28P IP phone).
To configure backlight via web user interface:
1. Click on Settings->Preference.
2. Select the desired value from the pull-down list of Backlight Idle Intensity.
This is only applicable to the SIP-T28P IP phone.
