REPLACING V-BELT(S)
1. Turn off engine. Engine must be cool.
2. Remove the belt guard to access the V-belt. (See Figure 7a)
3.    Refer to the belt tension adjustment steps. If the engine can't 
be moved to the back of plate any more, the belt may have to 
be replaced.
4. Loosen the jam nut enough.
5. Push the engine toward the front of plate as far as possible, in 
order to loosen the belts enough to slide them off.
6.     Slip the old V-belt off the pulleys and install the new one in 
their place.
When adjusting the belt, make sure that the clutch 
pulley is in alignment with exciter pulley.
3. Tighten the engine mount bolts.
4. Attach the belt guard.
2.    Push the engine by hand toward the back of plate to increase 
belt tension, then tighten the jam nut. (See Figure 8c & Figure 
8d)
