Post Trim & Hurricane Plates

Keeping the Post Trim centered on the Post, work

Screws through each pre-drilled hole.
Install the Post Trim on the inside of each Post, as
shown in Steps 199-201.
Locate the Hurricane Plates and bend slightly in
the center.
Place the Hurricane Plate on top of the 1x6 T&G
Boards.
Center the Hurricane Plate between the two roof panels
and fasten the plate to the Rafters and the Band Board
below using twelve (12) 10 D Nails. Install one (1)
Hurricane Plate at each Roof Splice, as shown in Steps
203-205.
