Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Begin the assembly by locating the two 56” 2x6’s (1C) with the joist hangers attached. Place them as shown with the joist hangers facing in. Next place the two 73 1/2” 2x6’s (1B) on the outside. Place four 54” 4x4 posts (1A) in place. These are pre-drilled for the threaded rods, notice how the holes are offset and need to align with the holes in the 2x6’s. Thread eight 6 3/8” threaded rods (6C) into the 56” 2x6’s.
Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. Fasten the posts to the side 2x6’s using 6 7/8” threaded rods, washers and acorn nuts. At this point you can go around and tighten all the nuts. Fasten the floor joists through the joist hangers using 1 3/4” washer head screws. (6F) Install three 56” 2x4 floor joists (1H) in the joist hangers. Before you install the floor measure across the corners to square the frame.
Step 9. Step 10. Step 11. Step 12. Lay the floorboards (1I) into position. Notice the narrow one in the center and the two short ones on either side. After the floor is finished assemble the railing section using 56” 2x6’s, 2x6 corner brackets (6A) and 6 7/8” threaded rods with washers and acorn nuts. Center the floorboards and fasten them with 1 1/2” vinyl screws. (6G) Fasten the top and bottom of each 2x6 corner bracket with 1 3/4” washer head screws.
Step 13. Step 14. Step 15. Step 16. The next step is to fasten the poly slats (1J) to the 2x6’s to complete the railings. Use the included template to align the slats then fasten them with 1 3/4” washer head screws. Prepare to assemble the legs by locating these pieces. There are two 81 1/4” 2x6’s (1D) for the sides and and one 79 1/2” 2x6 (1E) for the bottom. The bottom 2x6 will have two 15 1/2” (1G) 2x6 braces already attached. The side with a slide gets two slats on each side.
Step 17. Step 18. Step 19. Step 20. Fasten the 2x6 brace to the side 2x6 using the same lags. Lift one side of the tower up and place one of the legs into place. Repeat steps 15-17 to assemble the opposite leg. Fasten the legs using four 4” threaded rods. Insert the threaded rods through the predrilled holes then thread them into the t-nuts. Fasten the outside using washers and acorn nuts.
Step 21. Step 22. Step 23. Step 24. Use a 4” lag in the predrilled hole on the end of the 2x6 leg to finish fastening them. You may have to predrill the 4x4 with a 1/4” bit to get it started. Locate the cargo net, rock wall and ladder panels and prepare to install them. (4C) (4D) (4A) These are all interchangeable with each other and can be arranged however you like. There will be a empty spot next to one of the panels for the slide. Repeat steps 19-21 to finish the legs. Rock wall panel.
Step 25. Step 26. Step 27. Step 28. Ladder panel. (4A) Also fasten the two panels together using the same lags through the two center 2x6’s. Fasten all the panels to the tower using 3 1/2” lags through the side 2x6’s into the tower legs. Fasten the top of the panels to the tower using 3 1/2” lags through the 56” 2x6.
Step 29. Step 30. Step 31. Step 32. Fasten the bottom of the panels using the 3 1/2” lags through the 79 1/2” 2x6’s. Locate the 66 1/4” 2x6 with the floorboard attached. This is to fill the empty spot where the slide will go later. Attach it to the tower leg using three 3 1/2” lags. Follow steps 26, 28 and 29 to fasten the ladder panel. The ladder comes with a poly trim piece for the side. Center it on the 2x6 and fasten it with 1 1/2” vinyl screws.
Swing Frame Assembly Step 1. Start the swing frame assembly with the 2x6 swing beam. (3A) Step 2. Fasten the swing bearings (3H) to the swing beam using the lags provided with the bearings. These holes should all be pre-drilled. Step 3. Place the glider bracket (4M) in position.
Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Pre-drill four 1/2” holes then attach the bracket using the included lags. Attach the swing beam bracket (3G) to the end of the beam without the end caps. Use two 4 7/8” threaded rods with washers and acorn nuts to fasten the bracket. Fasten the side tabs of the bracket using 1 3/4” washer head screws. Install the beam strap (3E) on the other end of the beam using the same 4 7/8” threaded rods. Only finger tighten the nuts at this point.
Step 8. Step 9. Step 10. Step 11. Find the 4x4 end post (3B) and install it in the beam strap. Make sure the post is square with the swing beam then tighten all the nuts. Lift the swing beam up into place on the tower. Attach the corner bracket (3F) to the swing beam and end post. Fasten it with 1 3/4” washer head screws. Fasten the bracket to the 2x6 using 3” lags after placing it in position.
Step 12. Step 13. Step 14. Step 15. Next pre-drill two 7/16” holes through the 2x6 then fasten the bracket with two 2 3/4” threaded rods. Place the 2x4 end braces (3D) in place and fasten the bottom ends to the ground 2x4. Use two 4 1/8” threaded rods to fasten them. Find the ground runner 2x4 (3C) and fasten it to the end post using a 6 1/2” threaded rod, nut and washer. Fasten the top ends of the braces to the end post using 4” lags. Pre-drill the holes first using a 1/4” drill bit.
Step 16. Assemble the glider pieces using the included hardware. Step 17. Install the swings to finish the swing frame assembly. Tarp Roof Assembly Step 1. To begin the roof assembly find and identify these parts.
Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Fasten the 104” 2x4’s (2A) to the 4x4 posts using 3” lags. The pre-drilled holes should be centered on the 4x4 posts. Place the 2x4’s with the brackets in the center of the 104” 2x4’s with the brackets facing in. Use 1 3/4” washer head screws to fasten the brackets. Next fasten the roof 2x4 brackets (2E) to the 51” 2x4’s. (2C) Use six 1 3/4” washer head screws per bracket. Place the 61” 2x4 (2B) on top of 51” 2x4’s and fasten it with 3” lags.
Accessories Step 6. Place the 2x4’s with the tarp roof (2D) in place as shown. Fasten one 2x4 first then pull the tarp tight and fasten the other. Use 3” lags in the pre-drilled holes to fasten them. Ladder Handrail (4B) Place the ladder handrail in position on the ladder then fasten it with 1 1/2” Lags. Wonder Wave Slide (4E) Locate the wonder wave slide and place it in position.
Wonder Wave Slide (4E) Tic Tac Toe Panel (4G) Tic Tac Toe Panel (4G) Tic Tac Toe Panel (4G) Fasten the slide with three 1 1/4” lags. Make sure the lags go into the 2x6 below and not just the floorboards. Place the panel at your desired location in the tower then fasten the other end of the panel to the 2x6 railing. Use four 1 3/4” washer head screws to fasten it. The tic tac toe panel comes with a 18 1/2” 2x6. Fasten one end of the panel to the 2x6 using four 1 3/4” washer head screws.
Ships Wheel (4H) Ships Wheel (4H) Ships Wheel (4H) Ships Wheel (4H) The ships wheel should come with a mounting base, a cover, two lags and a bolt. Place the ships wheel over the mounting base and fasten it with the included nut and washer. First insert the bolt into the base then fasten the base to the 2x6 railing using the two lags. Install the cover to finish the ships wheel.
Binoculars (4I) Binoculars (4I) Binoculars (4I) Tire Swing(4J) The binoculars should come with a mounting base, a bolt and a lag. Attach the binoculars to the base using the bolt. Use the lag to mount the binocular base to the 2x6 railing. The tire swing gets installed on the center 2x4 floor joist. Attach the mounting base using two 3” lags.
Tire Swing (4J) Super Spiral Slide (4F) Super Spiral Slide (4F) Super Spiral Slide (4F) Attach the chains to the mounting base to finish the tire swing. Use the included lags to fasten it to the floor 2x6. Assemble the slide according to the slide assembly manual. Next install it in the open spot on the tower. Using the same lags as the previous step fasten the top of the slide to the railing 2x6.
