2. Loosen the bolts on the blade with a hex wrench.
3. Insert a wood piece on the opposite of the rotor previous to replacing the blade.
4. Replace blade. Start by preloading the bolts from the inside out (1,2,3). Once
bolts are preloaded, tighten to 25 ft-lbs each bolt. If you don’t have a way to
measure torque, just give the bolts a good grip.
5. Make sure the blade, once in place, will not make contact with any other part of
the chipper. You may do this by slowly rotating the disk. Prior to doing this, make
sure the engine is turned off and the spark plug is removed.
