Maintenance
General guidelines:
1. Always observe safety precautions when performing maintenance on the
chipper.
2. The warranty on this wood chipper, does not cover items that have been
subjected to wear, misuse or negligence of the operator. To receive any warranty
benefits; the operator must have maintained this chipper as indicated on this
manual.
3. All settings (blade, anvil, etc.) should be checked at least once before each use.
4. Periodically check all bolts, nuts, safety pins, etc.
WARNING:
Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug before servicing the
equipment.
Lubrication:
The chipper does not need any lubrication. The bearing units are sealed for the rest of
the bearing operating life.
However to improve a smoother rotation, you may apply grease on the contact surfaces
between the chipper frame and the neck discharge.
Wood Chipper Maintenance Chart
Before each use
● Check belt tension
● Check blade edge and anvil separation
● Inspect wheel air pressure
