Check spools for the proper gauge of trimmer line
• Is the line properly wrapped on the spool? The
wrong wrap and line diameter can cause hard
starting conditions
• Check air filters and gas tank filters (clean /
replace)
• Check gas lines for hardening, broken / cracked,
loosely connected, or for wear holes, causing
the line to take in excessive amounts of air
