®
Thelimited warranty setforth below is given by MTD LLC with
respectto new merchandise purchasedand used in the United States
and/or its territories and possessions,and by MTD Products Limited
with respectto new merchandise purchasedand used in Canadaand/
or itsterritories and possessions (either entity respectively, "MTD").
MTD warrants this product (excluding its normal wear partsas
described below) against defectsin material andworkmanship for a
period of two (2) years commencing on the date of original purchase
and will, at its option, repair or replace,free of charge, any partfound
to bedefective in materials or workmanship. This limited warranty
shall only apply if this product has beenoperated and maintained in
accordancewith the Operator's Manualfurnished with the product,
and has not been subject to misuse, abuse, commercial use, neglect,
accident, improper maintenance,alteration, vandalism, theft, fire,
water, or damagebecauseofother peril or natural disaster. Damage
resulting from the installation or use of anypart, accessoryor
attachment notapproved by MTDfor usewith the product(s) covered
by this manual will void your warranty as to any resulting damage.
Normal wear parts are warranted to befreefrom defects in material
and workmanship for a period of thirty (30) daysfrom the date of
purchase. Normalwear partsinclude, but are not limited to items
suchas: batteries, belts, blades, bladeadapters, grass bags, rider
deckwheels, seats, snow thrower skid shoes, friction wheels, shave
plates, auger spiral rubberand tires.

This limited warranty does not provide coveragein the following
cases:
a. Theengine or component parts thereof. Theseitems
maycarry a separatemanufacturer's warranty. Refer to
applicable manufacturer's warrantyfor terms and
conditions.
b. Log splitter pumps, valves,and cylinders havea
separateone-year warranty.
c. Routine maintenance items such as lubricants, filters,
bladesharpening, tune-ups, brakeadjustments, clutch
adjustments, deckadjustments, and normal
deterioration of the exteriorfinish due to useor
d. Service completed by someoneother than an authorized
service dealer.
e. MTD does not extend anywarranty for products sold or
exported outside of the UnitedStatesand/or Canada,
andtheir respective possessionsand territories, except
those sold through MTD'sauthorized channelsof export
distribution.
f. Replacementpartsthat are not genuine MTD parts.
g. Transportation chargesand service calls.
h. If Products are used commercially. (MTD may
separatelyoffer Limited Commercial Warranties on
certain selectproducts. Ask your dealeror retailerfor
details or contact MTD Servicefor more information.)
No implied warranty, including anyimplied warrantyof
merchantabilityof fitnessfor a particularpurpose,applies after
the applicableperiod of expresswritten warrantyaboveasto the
partsas identified.No other expresswarranty,whetherwritten or
oral, exceptasmentionedabove, givenbyanypersonor entity,
includinga dealer or retailer, with respectto anyproduct,shall
bindMTD. Duringthe periodof thewarranty, the exclusiveremedy
isrepair or replacementof theproductasset forth above.
The provisionsasset forthinthis warrantyprovidethe soleand
exclusiveremedyarisingfrom thesale. MTD shallnot he liable for
incidentalor consequentiallossor damage including,without
limitation, expensesincurredforsubstituteor replacementlawn
careservicesor forrental expensesto temporarily replacea
warranted product.
Somejurisdictions do notallow the exclusion or limitation of
incidentalor consequential damages,or limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts, so the aboveexclusions or limitations maynot
apply to you.
In no eventshall recoveryof any kind begreater than the amount of
the purchaseprice of the product sold. Alteration of safety features
of the product shall void this warranty. Youassume the risk and
liability for loss, damage,or injury to you and your property and/or to
others and their property arising out of the misuse or inabilityto use
the product.
This limited warranty shall not extendto anyone other than the
original purchaser or to the personfor whom it was purchased as a
gift.

warranty givesyou specific legal rights, and you mayalso haveother
rights that vary in different jurisdictions.
