Remove the distribution shaft assembly

Invert the pump body and apply assembly

grease to the distribution shaft and gears

(Figure 5-47,

(1))

before installing it into the

pump body.

Note: Check that the distribution shaft rotates

freely after installation.

bushing journal and ball bearing.
