Cause

Charge pump is defective.

Type of fuel is incorrect.
(2)
Insufficient fuel delivery from feed pump.
(3) Fuel temperature is high.
(4) Knocking sounds caused by improper (too fast) injection
timing.
(5)
Engine overheats or emits large amount of smoke due to
improper (too slow) injection timing.
(6) Charge pump is defective.

Defective injection nozzle performance.

Nozzle spring is broken.
