Premium PowerMatched Control Cable (YPM)
These are top-of-the-line cables, with features and performance that have
made them the rst choice of professional riggers. The ultra-low-friction
inner core wire has splines and a special cover to reduce contact with
the liner, allowing rigging to even tighter tolerances; another benet is
reduced ‘play’ at the cable ends. We highly recommend the use of Premium
PowerMatched cables for boats with severe applications and long cable
lengths, on twin-engine installations and on any boat for unrivalled
smoothness. These cables are designed to run smoothly even if installation
demands that curves or a radius be applied within the cable run.
Original High Quality Control Cable (Y38)
Yamaha offers you a choice in remote control cables that are a perfect
match for Yamaha’s controls. Our proven original high-quality cables
have set the standard with a “plastic-on-plastic” technology that reduced
friction for excellent cable performance. The standard-core wires increase
strength and reduce binding, allowing for a 4-inch bend radius -
approximately 50% better than ordinary cables. The ultraviolet-stabilized
jacket resists cracking and water migration to the core.
