Auto Setup Optimizes the speaker settings automatically (YPAO). 41
Manual Setup
Setting Pattern Registers two speaker setting patterns and switches between them. 99
Setting Data Copy Copies the “Setting Pattern” parameters in the specified direction. 99
Power Amp Assign Selects a speaker system. 99
Configuration
Front Selects the size of the front speakers. 99
Center Selects whether or not a center speaker is connected and its size. 100
Surround Selects whether or not surround speakers are connected and its size. 100
Surround Back Selects whether or not surround back speakers are connected and its size. 100
Front Presence Selects whether or not front presence speakers are connected. 100
Subwoofer Selects whether or not a subwoofer is connected and its phase. 100
Extra Bass Sets the speakers to produce the front channel low-frequency components. 100
Bass Cross Over Sets the lower limit of low-frequency component produced from speakers of which the size is set to “Small”. 101
Distance Sets the distance between each speaker and listening position. 101
Level Adjusts the volume of each speaker. 101
Parametric EQ
PEQ Select Selects a type of equalizer to be used. 101
PEQ Data Copy Copies the parametric equalizer values acquired with “Auto Setup” to the “Manual” fields for fine adjustment. 101
Test Tone Enables/disabled the test tone output. 102
Sound
Lipsync Adjusts the delay between video and audio output. 102
Dynamic Range Selects the dynamic range adjustment method for bitstream audio (Dolby Digital and DTS signals) playback. 103
Max Volume Sets the maximum volume so that sound is not too loud. 103
Initial Volume Sets the initial volume for when this receiver is turned on. 103
Pure Direct Mode Selects whether to output video signals during the Pure Direct mode. 103
Adaptive DSP Level Selects whether to automatically adjust the CINEMA DSP effect level in conjunction with volume adjustments. 103

Analog to Analog Conversion Enables/disables the video conversion between the analog video jacks. 103
Processing Enables/disables the video signal processing (resolution and aspect ratio). 104
HDMI
HDMI Control Enables/disables HDMI Control. You can also configure the relevant settings (ARC, TV audio input, etc). 104
Audio Output Selects a device to output audio. 105
