The Update Status column displays the following information. 
Message 
Meaning 
Waiting 
Waiting for start of update 
Updating 
Update currently in progress 
Cancelled 
Update was cancelled. 
Finished 
Update has finished. The device needs to be restarted. 
Completed 
Update has finished and been confirmed. 
Failed 
Update has failed. 
The “Progress” column of each firmware displays the following information. 
Model:  Other than RMio64-D:  Erasing  Transferring (and writing) 
RMio64-D:  Writing 
Dante:  When loading the device: Brooklyn2/Brooklyn3 (displays the module type) 
Updating:   Transferring  Writing 
NOTICE  Do not turn off the device or disconnect the cable while the update is in progress. The device may be damaged if you fail 
to follow these instructions properly. 
When loading firmware including only Brooklyn2 
① [Select] button 
Selects the file including the device firmware and the Dante firmware to be updated. The file 
“xxxx_v*_**_rrmt.bin” includes the firmwares, the firmware for the device, and the firmware for Dante. 
  xxxx represents the product name and *_** represents the firmware version number.  
(E.g. rio3224-d_v4_10_rrmt.bin) 
  The [Select] button is occasionally grayed-out and you cannot select the firmware. This may happen when 
a network interface for Dante is not configured correctly. In this case, from Dante Controller, select your 
network interface in the Configure Dante Interfaces dialog, and make sure that the devices are shown in 
Dante Controller.
