Connecting the Computer to the Device
Connect your computer directly to the Dante [PRIMARY] connector of the device to update.
· Dante firmware cannot be updated if the device has been locked with Dante Device Lock. Unlock it from the
Dante Controller. Although device firmware can be updated even if locked with Dante Device Lock, the old
firmware version before updating is displayed on the Dante Controller and the I/O DEVICE screen of the
CL/QL until the device is unlocked.
· When the device to be updated is a domain member of the DANTE DOMAIN MANAGER, unenroll the device
from the DOMAIN, then connect the device and the computer to the same subnet.
This figure is a connection example of the Rio3224-D.
You can perform the update, even when several sets of devices exist on a DANTE Network.
