Playing songs on media servers (PC/NAS)
Playing songs on media servers (PC/NAS)
When this product is connected to a network, it can play music files saved on a media server connected to
the same server.
NOTE
It is necessary to enable the media sharing setting on each device or media server software ahead of time. For more details, refer to
the user's manual of each device and software.
1 Press the NET key on the remote control repeatedly to switch the input to
“Server”.
The browse indication is shown on the front display.
2 Select a media server with the cursor keys and then press the ENTER key.
3 Select the content with the cursor keys and press the ENTER key.
Once you select a song, it starts playing.

You can configure it so this product turns ON automatically when you start playing music on the media server.

If the audio is cut off when connected to a wireless network, connect to a wired network.

You can shuffle/repeat play songs.

Playback can be controlled from a digital media controller (DMC).

You can register your favorite content to presets and then recall it easily.

You can control playing media servers with the ■ (Stop), r/d (Play/Pause) keys. While it is playing, you can skip a song with the
cursor keys (e/r), and control play/pause with the ENTER key.

You can switch the playback information shown on the front display by repeatedly pressing the DISPLAY key while it is playing.

If you press the RETURN key while a station is playing, it displays the browse indication on the front display and you can select
different content or media servers. To go back to the playback information without making a selection, press the NOW PLAYING
key.
