Making a wireless connection manually
Enter the required information and set up a wireless connection. You will have to configure the SSID
(network name), encryption method and security key manually.
Setup menu
“Network” > “Connection” > “Wireless (Wi-Fi)”
1 Select “Manual Setting” with the cursor keys (q/w).
2 Enter the necessary information as indicated on the front display to make the
wireless connection.
To enter text, use the cursor keys (e/r) to move the cursor, and then the cursor keys (q/w)
to change the character. Press the MEMORY key to delete the character to the left of the
cursor. Press the PRESET key to insert a new character one character before the character to
the left of the cursor.
Once the connection is established, “Completed” is displayed and the Wireless LAN indicator
on the front panel lights up.
If “Not connected.” is displayed, either repeat the process or try a different connection
method.
This completes the wireless connection process.
