Problems with FM radio
Radio reception is poor or has noise

It is receiving multipath (multiple reflections) or other interference.
Change the height, orientation, and/or location of the FM antenna.

The radio station is being received from a distant region.
Switch to monoaural reception via “FM Mode” on the Option menu. For more details, refer to the
following.

Automatic selection of FM radio stations is not possible

The FM radio stations are being received from distant regions.
Manually select stations. For more details, refer to the following.

Alternatively, use an outdoor antenna (commercially-available) .
Cannot select radio stations by pressing the PRESET key
(
No radio stations are registered.
If no radio stations at all have been registered, “No Presets” is displayed on the front display when the
PRESET key is pressed. Register radio stations to preset numbers. For more details, refer to the
following.

Auto presets can also be used for FM radio stations. For more details, refer to the following.

“Auto-registering FM radio stations (auto preset)”(p.66)
If the signals of FM radio stations are weak, no stations at all may be registered when auto preset is
performed. In that case, register them manually.

The input is on something other than “TUNER”.
Press the TUNER key. “TUNER” presets can only be recalled when the input is on “TUNER”.
