This product cannot be operated with the remote control

The z (Power) Switch on the front panel is down.
Put the z (Power) Switch on the front panel in the up position.

It is outside the operating range.
Try using it within the operating range. For more details, refer to the following.

Its batteries are dead.
Replace with new batteries.

Strong light or sunlight is hitting the remote control signal receiver on the main unit.
Change the lighting or the orientation of the unit.

The IDs of the main unit and the remote control do not match.
Change the ID of the main unit or of the remote control. For more details, refer to the following.

The front display is OFF
(
PURE DIRECT on the front panel is pressed.
When using Pure Direct, the front display turns OFF. After turning OFF, the display comes back ON when
the remote control or front panel is operated.

The front display is set to turn OFF automatically.
Set “Display Sleep Time” to “Off” from the Setup menu. For more details, refer to the following.
