Updating the firmware via your network
If this product is connected to the Internet and it is ready for a new firmware update, the following message
appears when you turn this product ON.
Update the firmware over the network from this screen.
NOTICE
(
Do not operate the product or unplug its power cord or network cable during the updating process. If the process is interrupted,
this product may become unusable. If that happens, please contact an authorized Yamaha service center to have it repaired.
1 Press the ENTER key.
“Perform Update” is displayed on the next screen.
2 Press the ENTER key.
The screen turns off and the firmware update begins.
3 When the messages “Update Success” and “Please ... Power OFF!” appear on the
front display, push the z (Power) Switch down.
This completes the firmware update.
NOTE

It takes about 20 minutes to update the firmware.

You can check whether there are any new firmware updates by selecting the following menu items in order: Setup menu >
“Network” > “Network Info” > “New Firmware”.

If new firmware is available, you can update it via “Network Update” in the “Network” on the Setup menu.
