Configuring YPAO

Reflecting YPAO measurements in speaker settings
Sets whether to reflect YPAO measurements in speaker settings.
“---” is displayed if YPAO has not been run yet, so this setting is not available.
Setup menu
“YPAO” > (each speaker) > “Setting”
Setting value
Off Disables reflection of YPAO measurement results.
On Enables reflection of YPAO measurement results.
NOTE
(
When YPAO is run, “YPAO” is automatically turned “On”.
(
Even if it is turned “Off” (disabled), the settings are retained.

Automatically adjust bass/treble balance in tandem with volume
Sets whether to use the YPAO Volume function, which is linked to the volume and automatically adjusts the
bass/treble balance based on the YPAO measurements.
When this is “On”, it allows you to enjoy a natural balance in sound quality, even at low volumes.
Setup menu
“YPAO” > (each speaker) > “YPAO Volume”
Setting value
Off Disables YPAO Volume.
On Enables YPAO Volume.
NOTE

When “YPAO” is “On”, the YPAO Volume function can be set.

When YPAO is run, “YPAO Volume” is automatically turned “On”.

When listening at a low volume, such as at night, we recommend setting “YPAO Volume” to “On”.
