There’s more to come, too. A wide variety of Voice/Style Expansion contents speciﬁc to various regions

are scheduled for future release. All have been specially recorded and programmed by professional

musicians in each region, and come with companion effect and other settings for optimum performance.

Use the contents as they are for an authentic feel, or mix them with other Voices/Styles on your PSR and

create your own unique, cutting-edge music. The possibilities are endless!

Installing Expansion Packs are exceptionally easy, and once loaded, their Voices and Styles can be

selected and played in exactly the same way as the preset Voices and Styles. Additionally, they include

all new waveforms/samples, recorded speciﬁcally for the Packs! Currently (as of summer, 2011), PSR

instruments compatible with the Expansion Packs are the PSR-S650 and PSR-A2000.

Our world is getting smaller all the time. For PSR players, though, the musical world is getting larger.

Much larger. And that’s just the way they like it.

Thanks to Yamaha’s new Voice & Style Expansion contents for the PSR, players can take advantage of a

wide and ever-increasing selection of regional, ethnic and traditional Voices and Styles. Load them to

your PSR and instantly play authentic sounds, rhythm and backing in the musical style of your choice!

How to install to the PSR-S650

Connect a formatted USB ﬂash memory to the USB TO DEVICE terminal, and then call up the FILE CONTROL display.

Use the CATEGORY [

] and [

] buttons to select “Expansion Pack Installation.”

Use the dial to select the Expansion Pack you want to install.

Press the [EXECUTE] button, and press it again to execute the installation.

When installation is completed, a message will appear prompting you to turn the power off and on again.

Turn the power off, and then back on.

How to use Expansion Voices (or Styles)

Press the [EXPANSION] button in the VOICE section (or STYLE section).

Select the installed Voice, and then play the keyboard (or the selected Style).

How can I get the bonus Voices and Styles?

Simply go to the Yamaha website below, select your particular instrument, and download the free content.
