Delay
In a sound system that includes multiple speaker units, it may appear to a listener that the
voice of the person talking is originating from a nearby speaker unit, rather than from the
actual person. In such cases, you can correct the perceived localization by delaying the audio
of the nearby speaker unit in proportion to the distance between the speaker unit near the
person who is talking and the speaker unit that is far from that person.
If sound from different speaker units is mutually interfering, adding a slight delay to one of
the audio signals will shift the interfering frequencies, lessening the unnatural sensation.
When placing this in the design sheet, select either Mono, Stereo or Multi. The illustrations
used in the following explanation are for the case of Stereo.
