Message Description
Are You Sure? [YES]/[NO]
This message is displayed to confirm whether or not you wish to proceed with the
selected operation.
Auto volume boost with this file name!
This message is displayed whenever a Wave file is named with } and { characters
as the 7th and 8th characters. The level of Wave files with } and { characters in
these positions is automatically increased for playback on your CP5 or CP50. As
a result, naming in this way could result in unexpectedly high volumes.
Completed.
This message is displayed when the selected operation has been completed.
Connected USB device is not supported.
This message is displayed if the USB flash-memory device plugged into the USB
TO DEVICE port is not supported by your CP5 or CP50.
Connecting to USB device...
This message is displayed while the USB flash-memory device plugged into the
USB TO DEVICE port is being mounted.
Device number is off.
This message is displayed if the Bulk Dump function cannot be used due to a
device number not having been set.
Device number mismatch.
This message is displayed if the Bulk Dump function cannot be used due to a
mismatch in device numbers.
Error storing user memory.
This message is displayed if an error occurs when storing settings in User
Memory. As this may indicate that User Memory has been damaged, you should
contact a Yamaha representative or authorized distributor (see the back of this
booklet) for assistance.
Executing...
This message is displayed while your CP5 or CP50 is busy processing data. You
should never turn off the stage piano while it is in this state.
File already exists.
This message is displayed if a file with the same name as the one you are about
to save already exists.
File is not found.
This message is displayed if no file of the selected type exists.
Illegal file name.
This message is displayed if the file name you entered is invalid.
Illegal file.
This message is displayed if the file selected for loading is unsuitable for use with
your CP5 or CP50 or is unsuitable for the current mode.
Illegal format.
This message is displayed if a Format 1 file is selected for Wave file playback or
MIDI file loading.
Load?(EXT perf) [YES]/[NO]
This message is displayed to confirm whether or not you wish to load the External
Performance memory (EXTBANK.C5E or EXTBANK.C6E) from a USB flash-
memory device plugged into the stage piano, thus overwriting the current
External Performance memory. Specifically, it is displayed if a USB flash-memory
device with an EXTBANK.C5E or EXTBANK.C6E file in its root directory is
plugged into the USB TO DEVICE port after an External Performance memory has
previously been loaded into the instrument.
Loading... [EXIT] to cancel.
This message is displayed while your CP5 or CP50 is busy loading a file.
Making external memory...
This message is displayed while your CP5 or CP50 is busy making an External
Performance memory on a USB flash-memory device plugged into the USB TO
DEVICE port.
MIDI buffer full.
This message is displayed if the volume of MIDI data received is too large to
process.
MIDI checksum err.
This message is displayed if the checksum for received system-exclusive MIDI
data is incorrect.
MIDI data error.
This message is displayed if an error occurs while receiving MIDI data.
No more files can be created.
This message is displayed if no additional files can be created on the USB flash-
memory device.
Overwrite? [YES]/[NO]
This message is displayed when saving files to confirm whether or not you wish to
overwrite a file of the same name already present on the USB flash-memory
device.
Please keep power on...
This message is displayed while your CP5 or CP50 is writing data to its flash
ROM. You should never turn off the stage piano while it is in this state. If this
precaution is not observed, User Memory data may be lost or the internal system
may be damaged, rendering the instrument unable to startup normally when it is
next turned on.
