Cold Climate Recommendation
When installing this fireplace against an exterior wall or chase, it is recommended that the outer walls be
insulated to conform to applicable insulation codes. Drywall must be installed over vapor barrier and
insulation material to prevent direct contact with the appliance.

The Wall Thimble Shield Z57WTS is required in
All Enclosures below 72” [Seventy-Two Inches].
Place Wall Thimble Shield Z57WTS against the
Wall Thimble Immediately above the Vent. Install
the Wall Thimble Shield using [3] DT Screws.
For Propane Horizontal installations the venting must be a minimum of two
feet vertical off the flue before going horizontal.
Kingsman Flex
venting MUST

Use of Simpson
Duravent or other
