ItisadvisedtoinsertthemicroSDcardbeforeanyothersetupbeginsasthecardwillnotberecognizedifinserted
oncetheY‐camisturnedon.Everytimethecardisre‐inserted,youwillneedtoturnthepoweroffandthenonagain
forthecardtoberecognized.

IfyoudonothaveamicroSDcard,butplantoaddonelater,thisisfine.Wheninsertingthecard,remembertoturnthe
powerofffromthecamera,insertthecard,andthenpoweritbackon.

TheY‐camsupportsmicroSDmemorycardswithcapacitiesrangingfrom16Mbto8GbincludingSDHCvarities.Donot
usememorycardswithotherspecifications.


1) ThereisalimittothenumberofrewritespossibleonanyMicroSDmemorycard.Ifyounoticethecard
becomingsloworsluggishafterareasonableusage,youwillprobablyneedtoreplacethemicroSDmemory
card.Trytoneverbuyasecond‐handcardforthisveryreason.
2) IfthecardisnotrecognizedbytheY‐cam,tryformattingthemicroSDcardviayourcomputerandthentryingit
againinthecamera.
