Single-action or narrow-angle float switches perform one function (on or off). They operate over a range of 15º. Wide-angle, or double-action float and diaphragm switches perform two functions (on and off). Wide-angle float switches operate over a 90º range and diaphragm switches on a 6” rise in water level.
