OPERATION
ATTACHING/REPLACING THE SAW BLADE:
1. To remove or replace the saw blade (16), you will rst
need to remove the anchor screw (3) and the outer ange
(4).
2. To do this, you will need to hold the spindle lock (9) and
use the hex key (13) to loosen the arbor screw (3) (clockwise
thread) and outer ange (4).
3. Raise the lower guard (11) by raising the lower guard lever
(5), then remove the saw blade and place the new blade
over the spindle if replacing.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the teeth and arrow printed on the
saw blade are facing the same direction as that of the arrow
on the Circular Saw.
The Guide Fence (15) is used when a straight cut is
required. Loosen the Lock Screw for Guide Fence
(2),then slide the Guide Fence through the two slots located
on the Base Plate(1) and re-tighten the Lock Screw for Guide
Fence (2) to secure into place.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the saw blade spins freely by cautiously
spinning it with one hand.
USING THE GUIDE FENCE
WARNING! ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT THE CIRCULAR SAW IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE OUTLET
BEFORE MAKING ADJUSTMENTS OR PERFORMING MAINTENANCE TO THE TOOL.
IMPORTANT: In order to achieve a straight cut, ensure the
Guide Fence rests against the material you are cutting for
the entire length to be cut.
