6. SLIPPER CLUTCH ASSEMBLY
13mm
VERY IMPORTANT!
It is very important that you NEVER FULLY TIGHTEN the Slipper Clutch. Overtightening the Slipper Clutch
may result in breakage of the diff crown gear and pinion gear.
CENTRAL SLIPPER CLUTCH
ADJUSTMENT
The Slipper Clutch can be adjusted by loosening the set-
screw and then, while keeping the tool in the set-screw
to prevent movement of the collar, rotating the spur gear
by hand as indicated in the drawing.
To LOOSEN: Rotate the spur gear in the counterclockwise
(CCW) direction.
• Smoother acceleration on power
• Easier to drive
To TIGHTEN: Rotate the spur gear in the clockwise (CW)
direction.
• More forward drive
• Less forgiving
ONE-WAY SLIPPER CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT
For adjusting the front one-way slipper clutch, remove the
slipper assembly from car and turn the screw inside the front
outdrive using a 2.0mm wrench.
LOOSE - CCW: Greater Rear Brake Bias
• Less weight transfer to front under braking
• Smoother on landings
• Easier to drive
TIGHT - CW: More Aggressive Front Brake Bias
• Less forgiving on landings
• More difficult to drive
