Using the Tablet

When you rotate the device the On-Screen Keyboard or the touch keyboard and handwriting panel
automatically rotates to the corresponding portrait or landscape view.
To open the On-Screen Keyboard:
1. Touch the Cortana icon to search for Keyboard, and then tap On-Screen Keyboard.
2. Touch the Keyboard icon in the Task bar.
To open the touch keyboard and handwriting panel:
1. Touch the Keyboard icon in the Task bar. The Keyboard displays.
2. In the top left of the keyboard tap the Keyboard icon to display a Keyboard and Handwriting Options
window.
3. Select from desired options.

Changing the System Language
To configure the input language:
2. Tap Settings > Time and Language.
3. Tap Region and Language.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to configure the input language.
If the Windows display language does not change correctly:
1. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region & language.
2. Ensure that Windows display language option is set to the desired language.
3. In the installed languages list below, select the language that has problems.
