Class B Equipment: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a residential
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruction manual, may cause interference
with radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, you are encouraged to try
to correct the interference with one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
• Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
• Consult the dealer or a radio/television technician for help.
This device complies with Part 15 of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Rules. Operation
is subject to the following two conditions:
• This device may not cause harmful interference.
• This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
FCC CAUTION: Any changes or modification not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
Warning: Do not attempt to service the wireless communication device built into the Tablet PC
yourself. Such action may void the warranty on the Tablet PC. Contact your Xplore Reseller or Xplore
Technologies for information about servicing your wireless communication device.
Note: The Radio Frequency (RF) emitter in your tablet must not be located or operated in conjunction
with any other antenna or transmitter. The 802.11 (WLAN) and 3G/4G mobile broadband (WWAN)
transmitters cannot function or transmit at the same time. Before selecting the radio (WLAN or
WWAN) to be used, disable the radio that will not be used. In addition, the 3G/4G mobile broadband
(WWAN) Xplore Connection Manager will alert the operator to disable WLAN functionality before
allowing connection to the 3G/4G network.
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled
environment.
• The FCC requires indoor use for the 5.15–5.25 GHz band to reduce the potential for harmful
interference to co-channel Mobile Satellite Systems. Therefore, it will only transmit on the
5.25–5.35 GHz, 5.47–5.725 GHz and 5.725–5.850 GHz band when associated with an access
point (AP).
FCC CAUTION: This device was tested for SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) in a body-worn and
portable configuration. The device was found to comply with the FCC requirements for RF exposure
when used in the docking station, held in the hand, or placed on the lap when tested with a
separation distance of 0mm.
