The following list details modem result codes that appear after the executing of a modem AT commands.

OK 0 Command successfully executed
CONNECT 1 Modem connected to line
RING 2 Incoming ring signal detected
NO CARRIER 3 Carrier detect failed/carrier dropped
ERROR 4 Command is invalid
NO DIALTONE 6 No tone during interval set with S6
BUSY 7 Busy signal detected
NO ANSWER 8 Remote end never answered
