Section 3 - Getting Started
Whenyourphonehasanincomingcall,itwillringandashtheCallLEDatthetoprightofthehandset.Depending
on whether the incoming call is a regular phone call or a D-Life call, the display will show [i] to indicate an incoming
D-Life call, or [p] to indicate an incoming call from your regular phone line. The D-Life number or phone number of the
incoming call will also be displayed*.
You can answer the call by pressing the Call key or the left soft key. You can silence the ringer by pressing the right
soft key. If you do not answer the call, it will be logged in your MISSED CALLSlist,andtheCallLEDwillashtolet
you know you have missed a call. After checking your MISSED CALLSlist,theCallLEDwillstopashing.
You can turn off your incoming call ringer for all calls by holding the * key until the silent mode icon appears on your
handsetdisplay.Ifyourringerissilenced,thehandset’sCallLEDwillashandshowthecallinformationonthedisplay.
To turn off silent mode, press and hold the * key until the silent mode icon disappears.
Note: To display the number of incoming phone calls, your telephone service must support Caller ID. This service
may not be included with your regular phone service - check with your service provider for details.
