Chapter 4: Detailed Example Design

The implement directory contains the core implementation script files.

implement.{sh|bat}

Windows (.bat) or Linux (.sh) script that

processes the example design through the

Xilinx tool flow.

xst.prj

XST project file for the example design; it

lists all of the source files to be

synthesized. It is only available when the

CORE Generator vendor project option is

set to “Other.”

xst.scr

XST script file for the example design that

is used to synthesize the core, and it is

called from implement.{sh|bat}. It is only

available when the CORE Generator

vendor project option is set to “Other.”

synplify.prj

Synplicity project file for the example

design; it lists all of the source files to be

synthesized. It is only available when the

CORE Generator vendor project option is

set to “Synplicity.”
