1. Q: How do I set up Mi Box S to watch in 4k?
A: In order to display 4K, Set the display mode in the Setting-Display-Display Mode to 4K. To
watch 4K content, such Netflix, set the video settings to 4K@30hz and above.
Note: You will need to have a 4K capable TV to display video and content in 4K.
2. Q: Can I use Ethernet connections?
A: Mi Box S supports Wi-Fi connection out of the box, you can only use Ethernet with an USB
to Ethernet adapter.
3. Q: How to use Live Button on the remote?
A: One click to “Live Channel” feature
Live Channel feature can be activated by downloading a third-party Live TV app
4. Q: How to Setup Mi Box S
A: Step 1: Plug in the Mi Box S to the outlet with the provided power supply, as well as
connecting the Mi Box S to an HDMI supported TV
Step 2: The device will boot up as well as being greeted by a welcome message.
Step 3: Follow the instructions on-screen to connect the device and remote control.
Step 4: Select your preferred system display language and connect to your home Wi-Fi
network (2.4G and 5G Supported).
Step 5: After setup, the system will automatically download the latest Android Patch in
the background, once completed, the device will automatically apply and install the latest
patch.
Step 6: Once completed, verify and insert your Google Account information to login.
Step 7: You are now running on the latest patch! Time to enjoy your favorite content on
your TV!
