6. Use of Device
The alarm information of the Smart Door sensor is divided into four levels:
level 0, level 1, level 2 and level 3. A level 0 alarm indicates that the alarm
is reported as soon as the door is opened, while the remaining three levels
indicate the alarm generated after the door is opened for more than a
certain time. The time when the alarm is generated can be set. For details,
refer to the alarm threshold setting in chapter 7.2.
6.1. Steps for usage
Place the device within the coverage of the ZETA network
Install the battery, and wait for the device to go online.
After the device is online, the current device status is reported.
You can try to open and close the door to check whether there is alarm
information reported, check whether the sensor can work normally,
and whether the installation position of the magnetic strip is suitable
(note that you need to turn on the level 0 alarm enable).According to
the usage scenario, set the policy configuration such as heartbeat
reporting cycle.
According to the usage scenario, set the policy configuration such as
alarm enable status and alarm threshold.
Daily maintenance and data viewing.
6.2. Support function
Version number: Report the software version number of the sensor
only once after power-on.
Status report: Report door sensor status
Set/Query report heartbeat period: can set or query the status
reporting cycle. (Range: 1~24h)
Set/Query Alarm Threshold: Set the base number of the first-level
alarm and the multiple numbers of the second-level alarm.
Example:
Set base number as 5min, and multiple number as 3. Hence:
Level 1 alarm: 5 min
Level 2 alarm: 15 min which is 5*3
Level 3 alarm: 30 min whcih is 5*3*2
