Introduction

The xMax xMod device is a wired/wireless bridge between xMax and 802.11 protocols.
Its primary function is to allow Ethernet or WiFi enabled devices to connect to an xMax
network. This manual provides basic setup and operational instructions for the xMod
unit.

Hardware Overview
The xMod device is a self contained 802.11b/g access point and xMax modem. The xMod
802.11 AP is a full featured “hot” spot allowing connection by up to 5 users. The xMod has
