Setting up Logical Printers

First of all, this section explains how to set up logical printers.

100 types of logical printers are available for each data format (HPGL, Versatec, TIFF,

CALS), and it is possible to setup each of these individually.

• The explanation here covers the operation procedures from Print Service on Web,

although it is possible to set up logical printers with the use of the printer control

panel. Refer to "5.2 Setting up Logical Printers" for details on performing this

procedure with the control panel (page 129).

• There are cases where the terminology and setup methods are different for Print

Services on Web and the printer control panel.
