3.1 Setting up Communication Parameters
VPI (optional)
1 Display [VPI] on the setup item selection
screen, and then press the < > key.
2 Select the item that is to be set up with the use of
the < > and < > keys, and then press the
<> key.
[REPORT OFFLINE], [EOP Timeout], and [Job
Separation] will be displayed in this order.
3 Select the parameters with the use of the < >
and < > keys, and then press the <Set> key.
An [*] mark will be displayed on the right-hand
side of the parameters once they have been set.
Printing Out a List of Settings
It is possible to print out a list of settings. The operational flow for this procedure is
explained below.
1 Press the < > key with [PORT SETTING]
displayed.
2 Select [PRINT CONFIG] with the < > key,
and then press the < > key.
3 Press the <Set> key when [SET: to Print.] is
displayed.
The list of settings will be printed.
