Chapter 2 Knowing Your Printer
Entering Numerals and Characters
This section provides examples of entering numerals and characters.
1 Select the menu item that you want to set so that
it is displayed on screen.
2 Press the < > key.
The specified value characters will be displayed.
3 Set the first numeral with the use of the < >
and < > keys. The value will increase or
decrease sequentially between 0 and 9.
4 Press the < > key.
The cursor will move to the second numeral.
5 Set the second numeral with the use of the < >
and < > keys.
6 Set all other numerals in the same way.
Press the <Set> key once all numerals have been
set.
The [*] mark will be set beside the value.
7 To proceed onto the next item, move the cursor
to the last character and press the < > key.
8 To return to the menu on the higher level, move
the cursor to the first character and press the
<> key.
In the example on the left, press the < >
key twice to display [2].
Press the < > key to return to the
previous numeral.
