Main Components and Their Function
Name Function
1 Document ejection port The scanned documents are ejected to this port.
2 Power outlet socket Removed from unit.
3 Print ejection port Printed paper is ejected to this port.
4 Remote switch A selector switch that enables the power to both the
scanner and the printer to be switched on and off
with the use of the Main Power Switch.
5 Interface connector Connects the Scanner to the Printer.
6 Serial port connector Used by your service person for maintenance
purposes.
7 Circuit Breaker Switch Power circuit breaker for the printer
8 Paper Heater Switch Switches on/off the paper heater in accordance with
the environment in which the machine is being
used.
9 Main Power Switch Switches on/off the power to the Scanner and
Printer (when the remote switch is on).
Connections to the host computer and other necessary connections will be
taken care of by our service person.
