Main Components and Their Functions
The combination unit is used for explanatory purposes in this User Guide.
Name Function
1 Scanner document table The documents to be scanned are inserted here.
2 Setup screen Used to confirm the settings, such as the print
count, and messages relating to the machine status.
3 Control panel
Numeric keypads and various operation buttons are
situated on the control panel. Refer to the User Guide
(Copier) for detailed operation methods.
4 Document insertion guide Used when inserting documents.
5 Printer control panel Used to change the paper size or paper type.
6 MSI* /Manual Feed
Unit (optional)
(*Multi Sheet Inserter)
Used to print on paper that has not been set in the
media tray.
7 Feeder LED This LED is illuminated in red when the media tray
is in operation.
8 Media tray (6050 Only) The dual-roll type media tray that feeds roll paper
can be connected here.
