Chapter 4 Basic Machine Operations
Media Margin
Sets the top, bottom, left and right margin values for determining input sizes.
+ values represent margins outside of the paper size, and – values represent margins
inside the paper size. The size that includes (excludes) these margins is established as the
input judgment size.
Settings The settings for this function are as follows.
Setting Example
The paper margin settings are determined in accordance with the following for input data
consisting of 300 x 420 mm.
These settings are only valid when the [Input Options] - [Size] parameter has been set
to [AUTO].
Menu Item Description
MarginX Sets the left and right margin values within a range of –99 to 99 mm.
The default settings is [5 mm].
MarginY Sets the top and bottom margin values within a range of –99 to 99 mm.
The default settings is [5 mm].
