4.5 Logical Printer Settings
Define Multi Pen
Sets the line width, color and other pen attributes for HPGL data for multiple pens. The
same parameters will be set for all other pen numbers within the range of specification.
Settings The settings for this function are as follows.
These settings are only valid with HPGL data.
Menu Item Description
Pen No. Specifies the starting number and ending number to cover the
range of the pens that are to be set up. The pen numbers are set
within a range of 0 to 98.
Width Sets the line width within a range of 0 to 511.
1 = 0.0635 mm.The actual width of the line will be n
× 0.0635 with
the line width set to n. The default setting is [2].
Text may not be printed cleanly if the line width is set to
[1].
Color Sets the line color at [BLACK] or [WHITE].
The default setting is [BLACK].
End style Sets the end of the line to [SQUARE], [ROUND], [EXTEND] or
[TRIANGLE]. The default setting is [SQUARE].

Joint style Sets joint processing for lines to [UNJOINT], [BEVEL], [MITER]
or [ROUND]. The default setting is [MITER].

This setting is only valid for HP-GL and HP-GL/2 EA, EP,
ER, FP, RA, RR and PE.
