Chapter 4 Basic Machine Operations
Media Series
Sets the paper groups for the input, output and printing paper.
It is also possible to set different groups for each of these.
Settings The settings for this function are as follows. All of the default settings are [ISO A].
The paper types that can be set for each paper group are shown below.
• Input size, Output size
• Media Size
Menu Item Description
Input size Sets the paper group for determining the input size A.
The selections available are [ ISO A series ], [ Special A series ],
[
Arch ], and [ ANSI series] .
Output size Sets the paper group for determining the output size.
The selections available are [ ISO A series ], [ Special A series ],
[
Arch ], and [ ANSI series] .
The settings specified with the host take priority.
Media size Sets the paper group for determining the roll media to be used for
actual output.
The selections available are [ ISO A series ], [ Special A series ],
[
Arch ], and [ ANSI series] .
