3. If misfed paper is not found in step 2, pull out Paper Tray 1 and remove the misfed
paper.
Be careful not to tear the misfed paper during removal.
4. Gently close the paper tray.
Push the tray firmly all the way into the machine.
5. Gently close the upper side cover.
After closing, confirm that the misfeed message has
been cleared and the normal display appears.
Misfeed in the Bypass Tray
1. Remove the misfed paper from the Bypass Tray.
Be careful not to tear the misfed paper during removal.
2. After removing the misfed paper, open and close the Duplex Bypass/Inverter Unit
to reset.
Grasp the finger hold and gently open the unit.
