Replacing the Fuser Module
The Fuser Module is a replaceable unit on the device. You will be notified by the device when the
module needs replacing.
WARNING: When replacing consumables do NOT remove the covers or guards that are fas-
tened with screws. You cannot maintain or service any of the parts that are behind these cov-
ers and guards. Do NOT attempt any maintenance procedure that is NOT specifically
described in the documentation supplied with your device.
WARNING: The fuser module is hot.
1. Open the front door on the device.
2. Release the Fuser Module.
3. Replace the used consumable with the new consumable.
Note: For more detailed instructions see the device touch screen or the instructions provided
with the replacement consumable.
4. Latch the Fuser Module.
5. Close the front door of the device.

The Waste Toner Bottle is a replaceable unit on the device. You will be notified by the device when
it requires replacing.

1. Open the Waste Toner Bottle door on the device.
2. Remove the Waste Toner Bottle.
3. Replace the used consumable with the new consumable.
Note: For more detailed instructions see the device touch screen or the instructions provided
with the replacement consumable.
4. Close the Waste Toner Bottle door on the device.
