4 Call the remote location.

DIAL FAX NUMBER THEN PRESS START appears in the

LCD display.

Note: For a successful fax transmission, it is imperative that steps

5 to 7 occur in the proper order.

When finished talking, instruct the person at the remote

location to press the Start/Enter button on their fax

machine. They can then hang up.

The remote fax machine will send the initial fax tones.

6 Wait until you hear the fax tone from the remote fax machine.

7 Press the Start/Enter button on the WorkCentre 470cx. The

machine begins to transmit.

8 Replace the handset.
