To run the Clean Head Procedure:
1
Press the Menu button,thenpresstheMaintenance button
on the one-touch keypad. The display indicates SELF TEST ?.
2 Press the Up button. CLEAN HEAD ? appears in the LCD
display.
3 Press the Start/Enter button. PRINTING... appears on the
LCD display.
The WorkCentre 470cx prints a head cleaning test pattern. Notice
the series of diagonal lines across the top and bottom of the test
pattern. Breaks within a line of the same color indicate a clogged
nozzle. Try running the Clean Head procedure again if you see
breaks in the diagonal lines.
