4 Safety Notes Your stacker has been designed and tested to meet strict safety requirements. These include safety agency examination and approval, and compliance to established environmental standards. Please read the following instructions carefully before operating the Stacker. NOTE: Refer to Instructions as needed to ensure the continued safe operation of your stacker. FOLLOW all warnings and instructions marked on or supplied with the product. Location of the Stacker Serial Number Stacker Jam Clearance In order to locate the serial number of your stacker, you must first push down the release lever and slide the stacker away from the printer. The paper fed from the printer will be either cut or uncut. Caution To ensure the safety of the user, be aware during jam clearance that the surface will be hot. The serial number plate is located on the left of the front cover facing the printer.
8 Top View Stacker Relocation The stacker cannot be moved except by a DRC rigger. To ensure that the stacker operates reliably after moving it to a new location, consider the following guidelines: · The new location must provide minimum clearances around the stacker. These clearances are shown in the diagram on the right. · The flooring in the new location must be adequate to support the weight of the stacker and be reasonably level.
