Engine Integration

The FreeFlow Print Server with the Adobe PDF Print Engine,

powered with parallel RIP technology, delivers a predictable

and consistent workﬂow—from creative through prepress

and production. By RIPing PDF ﬁles natively, you eliminate

the problems associated with PostScript

conversion. Special

effects added by the graphic designer print as expected—

without time-consuming and unreliable workarounds such as

ﬂattening layered ﬁles. Plus, color conversion, trapping and

imposition are integrated and performed at the

print server.

Better Integration With Your Existing Workﬂows

The latest version of the FreeFlow Print Server includes a native

JDF/JMF gateway for tighter integration and better information

sharing within your operation. JDF/JMF is an industry standard

designed to simplify information exchange between systems in

a production print environment. With FreeFlow Print Server, you

can seamlessly communicate between your Xerox

printer and

other systems and solutions in your shop. The availability of

accurate operational data leads to increased productivity and
